Ohh, this looks interesting!  From ibrick.it comes a LEGO building instruction viewer for iPad.  This would be fantastic to hold all our building instructions for your current creations as well as doing some 'virtual' building when you don't have your NXT kit around. Not a lot of info available, but if you know more details, please let us know in the comments.

Not exactly NXT, but it's younger sibling the RCX (who remembers those?) These guys needed to test their iPad app by taking 10,000 photos.  Either it's an *incredibly* boring job, or you build a robot to do it for you :) Simple but effective! With Apple's new magnification software that comes with iOS 4.1 and later, I found it easy to build NXT models using my iPod Touch. (Click the above photo for a larger look). Has anyone else built models by displaying documents on your mobile device? If so, what was your experience? What software works best when importing PDFs into your mobile device?

So I got an Apple iPad recently, and I have seen the future... This a cool device, and it's good at many things. One thing that it is exceptionally good at is viewing LEGO building instructions, because you can have it with you right on the floor with your LEGOs, and it's interactive, connected, color, etc. It beats a laptop or a stack of books easily at this task. So I made a little video demo of using it in various ways for this (viewing web content directly, PDFs, eBooks, etc). This may be the future of education... Check it out.
