Last month Rebrick had a contest amongst MCP's. It was simple -- had to be an EV3 robot, could not be one of the bonus models,  public would votes during month of September,  then most likes would wins -- This was not an easy task but 9 prepared MCP's  have managed to treat us with great EV3 creations! Over the past few days I’ve seen stories regarding the LEGO Education EV3 Battery Pack circulating on the various forums and FB groups. Yesterday LEGO Education released a statement to customers and partners who are affected by this issue, confirming the problem. I’ve put a small excerpt of the statement below. It is a real pleasure for me to combine my very first post to the The NXT STEP (is EV3, of course!) with the Grand Opening of the most important LEGO event in Greece. This is the fourth year that the Greek LEGO Market Office organises the "LEGO Festival at The Mall Athens" and of course the LEGO MINDSTORMS product was present in all previous years. Especially last year, MINDSTORMS was the flag-ship product of the event, during which we had the honour to host bazmarc.ca with his Wall-E and Mike and Dave from UK with their amazing CubeStormer. This year, is another special year as we're hosting for the very first time in Greece, EV3RSTORM and all his gang R3PTAR, TRACK3R, GRIPP3R and SPIK3R. Last February was the famous LEGO WORLD 2013 show at the Bella Center in Copenhagen. If like me, you where unable to attend the show in person, be happy to see here today an amazing professional video of the MINDSTORMS booth and EV3 action!!! Some highlight include Kjeld riding Simon's awesome MINDSTORMS wheelchair,  Lee's EVAN and the RED Dragon  and a whole bunch of EV3RSTORM dancing the go go bot!! The NXT STEP Blog became the reference on the topic of LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT so when The LEGO Group announced the new MINDSTORMS EV3 earlier this year at the CES 2013 Show we had to take a decision regarding the future of this blog.  It was unanimously decided among the blog's authors that "Yes we're still doing NXT but we'll also be covering all things EV3!"   In other word we all agreed The NXT STEP is...
