News Flash!!   I'm boarding the plane in a few hours for a trans-Atlantic flight to Denmark as I have decided to join the Mindstorms team on another crazy LEGO filled adventure (some people enjoy the beach for their vacation... I choose LEGO WORLD :)  -- Of course I'm taking my Wall-E4 with me along with my new BRICKBOT and my friend Andreas from the NL will also join me at the Mindstorms kiosk with his NXTWallet (you know that first NXT transformable Wall-e)!!But that's not all!!  My real mission is to help out my LEGO bro Vassilis (NeXTSTORM) who has been invited to present a totally awesome project he has been working on... The challenge was to remake Wall-E3 (the one that went to Atlanta for the FIRST World Championship earlier this year) but to use only Mindstorms this time! No Power function or 3rd party components!!  humm,   Well we all know the NXT Servo motors are 'huge' and only 3 can be plugged  per NXT... Conclusion?  zWall-E4! Tech. Spec.: 3 NXT bricks 8 NXT Servo Motors 2 Color Sensors (for the eyes) 1 Ultrasonic Sensor 4 Touch Sensors & Bluetooth was used to link all 3 NXT's via a NXT-G 2.0 program. OK so he doesn't transform (yet), but I'm still quite happy with the result. There is always room for improvement though :) I look forward to hear your comments. LEGOWORLD Norway is today for the third day open, I welcome you all to join us today or tomorrow in Oslo. (see www.legoworld.no for details) We have a really large MINDSTORMS stand, showing a lot of NXT and RCX models , but you can also play with many bricks, view models from the past, buy new boxes, and several nice goodies. Here are some more Photos of LEGOWORLD 2007. We had an impresive Mindstorms stand with over 20 NXT models on display. Gerrit and I build a working Bowling ally that we demonstrated every hour. It was build with "Old school" technics, and 14 RCXs. we had over 40 Motors and many meters of wires. Building these masive models with NXT is still hard, due to cables and size of the motors. Eric Build a masive remote controlled tank, and several nice NXT models. Daniel created this audience shooter, that realy worked fast.
