The Google Lunar X-price Moonbots 2 challenge has come to an end , and with that also winners are announced. [ link ] The main difference between FLL and Moonbots is that the Moonbots robot have to do a complete autonomous run, so no manual interference in between the runs, like real robots on the moon. So this Wednesday at the FIRST World Festival will also be the kick off of the "MoonBots" challenge (according to the Facebook page ). "MoonBots" challenges teams of kids to build robots to solve missions similar to those faced by participants in the Google Lunar X PRIZE challenge.
