Got an email today from a reader... he asked me to build another bot in under 15 minutes, but with the Ultrasonic sensor instead AND a different look.
Okay... this one took me 18 minutes... BUT... only because I had to pause to think about the angle of the Ultrasonic sensor mount... you'll see the Ultrasonic sensor sits on a 'weird' little assembly. I could have just slapped it on the bot with a couple of beams, but I wanted it to look somewhat 'robotish' (is that a word?).
Anyway, I've uploaded the new images to Flickr. You might have luck searching for Jimbot2 or thenxtstep or just plain old NXT. For some reason, my tags are still not working...
You can view all my images at http://www.flickr.com/photos/thenxtstep/
And no more dares... I MUST get some real work done this week :)
