Mike Brandl from Austria has visited the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of LEGO® MINDSTORMS in the LEGO® headquarters in Billund, Denmark, alongside with some other MCPs; he has published a lot of photos of the event in his web site. Have a look and enjoy: there are many prominent robot members of the MINDSTORMS history to be seen.

As many of you would remember, as part of the 10 year celebration of LEGO MINDSTORMS, two AlphaRex robots set off in April 2008 starting with the Atlanta world Festival , USA. Since them the two robots have been clocking up the frequent flyer points as they manage to travel around the world and meet really cool people and stunning places. One of the two AlphaRex robots made it to Auckland, New Zealand this month and he just loves it here. You might have already noticed that LEGO® is celebrating 10 years of MINDSTORMS presently (not last by Alpha Rex's journey around the world): the first MINDSTORMS Set was launched in 1998. On occasion of that, a celebration took place last week at LEGO®'s offices at Billund (Denmark) with lectures held, videos and models shown and a lot of persons taking part that played a key role with LEGO® MINDSTORMS. Amongst others, also a bunch of community members of the MCP program for the NXT were present. Have a look at LEGO®'s announcement on the event.

On his trip around the world due to the 10th anniversary of LEGO® MINDSTORMS, AlphaRex has visited the idyllic Black Forest in Germany and I have been able to take some shots - have a look for them at the official LEGO® MINDSTORMS site .

During his travels around the world on the occasion of LEGO® MINDSTORMS' 10th anniversary, AlphaRex has made station at Salzburg , the famous Mozart city in Austria.
